WHEN SHOULD I BOOK?

For newborns it is best to book at least a couple of months in advance to avoid disappointment. We simply pencil you in for a week after your due date, then you let me know when baby has arrived and we reschedule if need be to ensure you are seen in those first 6-10 days. As babies have their own arrival schedules only a limited number of sessions are available each month.
When it comes to family portraits it is best to book in at least a month in advance so we can find a compatible time and plan your session.

WHAT IF THE WEATHER IS POOR ON THE DAY?

The most important thing is for everyone to enjoy the session so I am more than happy to reschedule. I am also happy to embrace it - so it is whatever works best for you.

WHERE WILL OUR PHOTOS BE TAKEN?

I will discuss this in detail with you when you book.  For family portraits it could be somewhere special to you that you like to hang out together, at the river, the lake, on the farm or I have locations on our farm that we can use.

WHAT SHOULD WE WEAR?

This is a key part of the investment you are making and will make a difference to the end result. When you book your shoot I will send you a session questionnaire then we will talk about this in more detail.

HOW LONG WILL YOU KEEP OUR PHOTOS?

Your final images will be kept for one year, then they are backed up onto disk and stored. There is no guarantee that disks will not fail so when you receive your digital negatives I recommend backing them up in more than one location as well, and of course the best way to preserve them is to have them printed!

HOW LONG DOES IT TAKE TO RECEIVE MY FINAL PRODUCTS?

This depends on what you order but generally within 3-6 weeks of your design consultation appointment.

DO YOU SELL DIGITAL FILES?

For sure. While my focus is on providing you with bespoke wall art I do understand that you may wish to print and share images with your family, however digital files cannot be purchased on their own.
To give you some idea with print collections or 10 or more prints digital files are included. If you purchase an album with 20 images, you will also receive the same 20 digital files. With frames and canvas’s you receive the digital files of the images that have been printed.

WHEN WILL WE GET TO SEE OUR IMAGES?

Within 2-3 weeks of your session we have your design consultation appointment where you view the best images from your session. This takes place at my studio.
Together we work to select your favourite images and create your wall art.

HOW DO I PAY?

Your session fee is payable at the time of booking and can be done by online bank transfer.
After your design consultation appointment, full payment is due before your order enters production.
You can pay by eftpos or credit card at the studio. There is also a lay-by option available meaning you can have exactly what you love and pay it off over a number of weeks.

DO WE NEED TO BRING ALONG PROPS FOR THE SESSION?

My studio houses everything required for a newborn session, all you need to provide is the baby!  However if you have say a special blanket that you would like incorporated please bring it along.
