Once you have contacted me, we will talk on the phone so I can understand exactly what you are wanting from your photography experience including whether you are wanting newborn or family portraits This allows us to start planning your session, setting a date and time and working through the finer details like what to wear. We will talk about where you want to display the images in your home and the colours of the rooms to ensure your wall art fits perfectly.

If there are younger children in the family it pays to consider their sleep times when making a booking to ensure they are at their best for the session.

Newborn sessions take up to 3 hours depending on the amount of cuddles and feeds required. Family & sibling images are part of newborn sessions so please bring the whole family along for the first 30 minutes - grandparents are most welcome too!  It is too long for siblings to stay for the whole session so if someone else can pick them up at this point or Dad could take them a drive it allows us to create a calm, relaxed environment for the remainder of the session where I will focus just on your baby.

Family sessions are generally held in the outdoors and take anywhere from 1 - 1.5 hours. I will guide you through the session ensuring we capture the true character of your family.

At your consultation you get to see your images for the first time ~ it is the best part of the experience!  I will create a slideshow for you, projecting the images onto the wall so you can see them big in all their beauty.

We will work together to select your favourites and from there design your bespoke wall art.  If you know where you want to display the images in your home I do recommend you sending me through a photo of that space before this appointment.

I ask that all decision makers are present for this consultation ~ it can be overwhelming to make these decisions alone and from my experience it is always easier if both parents are present.
